A sad loss for our class

Gregory Johnson

6/17/2007 - Gregory Daniel Johnson, 38, of Findley, Ohio, formerly of Donelson Road, Jamestown, died on Thursday, June 14, 2007, in Toledo, Ohio.

A native of Jamestown he was born May 9, 1969, the son of Marvin and Helen Harvey Johnson.

Greg was a 1987 graduate of Southwestern Central School and a 1991 graduate of Ohio State, earning a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics. He was a sales rep for Syngenta Crop Protection in Toledo, Ohio. Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Christine Evans of Jamestown; a brother, Timothy (Beth) Johnson of Springdale, Ark.; a niece, Sarah Johnson of Springdale; and two nephews: Matt Evans of Jamestown and Samuel Johnson of Springdale.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. No visitation will be observed.

The family suggests memorials be made to Chautauqua Lake Yacht Club, Junior Program, 43 E. Lake St., Lakewood, NY, 14750 or Chautauqua County 4H, Hog New Pen Project, 3542 Turner Road, Jamestown, NY, 14701.

You don't want to miss this one, if you haven't already signed up, we have over 100 people attending the Fri. night adult party and 175 with kids for the Sat. family picnic. We just met with the DJ and YES WE WILL HAVE A DISCO BALL! along with several of your favorite 80's tunes. We are having a buffett dinner/cash bar, slide show and a pin up board with great pictures old and new.

On Sat. at the Vikings Lake Park you can order off the menu or bring your own snacks, there is a beach for swimming, a playground and a bar. We will have fun games and prizes for the kids and parents.

We are asking that you please send your check in advance to ensure we have enough for everyone,

20th reunion invitation

Southwestern Class of 87 20th year reunion weekend!

Friday night July 6th 6:00pm
Bring your companion or just yourself to our casual adult reception at Maplehurst Country Club for food fun and music!!!! $25.00 per person

Saturday afternoon July 7th 1:00pm
Family picnic for everyone at The Viking Lake Park, bring your bathing suit, a life guard will be on duty as well as a playground for the kids.

Absolutley no outside alcohol permitted at the lake park, snacks may be brought in or food may be purchased off the menu.

Hello Kiddies

Up Date

We just want to post a quick update. We have confirmed the dates of July 6th and 7th. Friday will be an adult dinner and Saturday will be a family picnic. We have received several e-mail addresses at our yahoo account, thank you and please keep up the good work. We still have a lot of people on the missing list so if there is anybody who has any information on those missing, even parents address, please send them to the yahoo account, any little bit helps. We want this to be a great reunion. Again, the e-mail address is swcsclassof87@yahoo.com, we are storing everyone's information the the address book for future use.
